Let's see. It's Friday night, I forgot to make plans, and I am bored. What shall I do with myself?

A) Sift through the piles and piles of paperwork on my desk, and thus accomplish Important Languishing Tasks.

B.) Clean my bathroom, my bedroom, or even both! Watch as the birdseed, feathers, spider webs, and dirt magically disappear.

C.) Do some relaxing yoga, becoming At One with the universe.

D.) Write more crappy poems in the ongoing "Maudlin Breakup Poem" series. Accidentally write a poem that doesn't suck!

E.) Figure out that my camera has a self-timer and take a lot of pictures of myself. Post a journal entry.

It's not a mushroom! It's not a mop!
I think that it may be some type of curse.

However, my cuteness was able to vanquish it!

Finally, four months later: it's Buttercup!

The confused Little Ham. I was even more confused when I found this picture. Who took it? Where did it come from? Does it have anything to do with....

THE CURSE?

A photo of an eyeball provides a clue.

The perpetrator becomes Randomly Artistic.

Look! It's a picture of me, me, me! Okay, I guess the perpetrator must be one of the good guys.

STOP THAT! You're freaking me out!

365 days ago (give or take):

"Here's what the optimistic part of me says: I am happy to be emotionally available; I have a million buckets of love at the ready, and that's a good feeling. For a long time, there was this little enclave of my heart that nobody could get to, but that enclave is now open to the public, and that's a good feeling too. It was time."

Yay Mo of yore! We will find somebody bucket-worthy eventually.

what i'm reading:
Brideshead Revisited. Today I spent a leisurely lunch hour eating smoked salmon pizza, drinking Chardonnay, and reading this book. Life doesn't get better.

what i'm writing:
I may go write something after this. One never knows.

what i'm watching:
Nothing today. Oh, wait, yes! I did catch the last hour of A Mighty Wind at a matinee. Love that movie.

anything:

phoebe and princess buttercup:
I wish I had something more to say about them. Phoebe still loves her bells and Buttercup is getting better at flying.

journal quote of the day:
None. Update, people! (And I can't link source code...)

mood ring:
sicker

shakespeare says:
Here is my hand for my true constancy; and when that hour o'erslips me in the day wherein I sigh not, Julia, for thy sake, the next ensuing hour some foul mischance torment me for my love's forgetfulness! (The Two Gentlemen of Verona)

biking update:
miles: None
this year's mileage: 149.7
notes: Didn't get a chance today. Worked all day.
