Kelly Clarkson (The Real One)
First came the rumors that Vitamin Water was insisting that Kelly lose weight before promoting their product. Which was super disappointing, considering that she's such a role model (or idol, if you will) for impressionable tweens and... well, me.
Now her publicist is reporting that "nothing could be further from the truth" than this rumor; she's already wrapped her first photo shoot and hasn't changed her body at all. I hope that Kelly will continue to demonstrate that you don't have to have ribs and collarbones poking out of yourself in order to be healthy.

Oh whew! I do hope that's true!
Speaking of American Idol, did you hear that Katharine McPhee is going to be guest-hosting the view for part of this month, filling in for Star Jones? It's like all the BFD topics are converging! Maybe Kelly Clarkson will appear on the show as a guest...wearing overly tight jeans that give her a muffin top!
I don't know what to do with that information. I bet their topic of discussion when Katharine is hosting (and Kelly is guesting) will be childhood obesity and Hoodia and blogging. I think this blog might explode.
You are talking about "The Real One" Kelly Clarkson...Well BOY OH BOY am I disappointed in her. My husband, daughter, and I was at her concert at Jones Beach on July 12, and boy was it a bit of a disappointment. Now, dont get me wrong, the effect and stage visuals (if you will) were awesome. We also saw her last year at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and the stage was kool but, nothing like this...it was awesome.
As far as her performance, she sang great as usual. So, I am sure you are asking yourself why am I so DISAPPOINTED??? Well lets just say it took us almost as long to leave the concert and get out of the parking lot as long as she was on stage. She was only up there for a little over an hour. And she didnt even do any encores. She also didnt do any in NYC either but, I just thought that was because she got glass in her foot. So that is why I dismissed it. I am so disappointed in her, I am taking her off my playlist. And, we even had "A Moment Like This" as our wedding song. So that is why we wanted to see her even more.
My thinking is if you are going to HEADLINE a tour, dont you think you should play for more then an hour especially at the prices they charge for tickets!! Maybe I am wrong, maybe I am not. Obviously, it is all a matter of personal belief.
